I'm a HUGE Douglas Adams fan. Have been for many years.
I went to see "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" (THHGTHG) today, and I absolutely loved it. I never thought we'd see a movie version, especially after we lost Adams in 2001 (*sigh*).
I think he'd be pleased. HIGHLY recommended.

Yeah! We did it! Two performances of "The Vagina Monologues" were a complete success. I was nervous, and even forgot a whole sentence opening night (!) but everything went really well. We raised over $5,000 for the Morris County Sexual Assault Center. The theater (see it here!) was amazing.
That's me standing on the far right. Thanks to Carol, Melissa, Sue, Jerlen, Stacy, Jeni, Suse, Sue, and our "stage mom", Christine. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat.
And now I can relax and enjoy Dianne Shuur tomorrow night! wooHOOOO

Is it February already? In just under two weeks is our performance of "The Vagina Monologues". Even though I'm only reading one, and it's very short, I'm nervous! I've never been on the stage before (unless you include childhood dance recitals). But we're having fun rehearsing, and the other ladies are quite good. If I don't post before then, Happy Valentine's to everyone! A couple of concerts on the agenda this month too: Dianne Schuur and Herbie Hancock. And yes! I finally updated the music. I love these guys. It always makes me smile. :)
